Dedication
“You’re quitting now? WE JUST MADE THE UNIT!”
Dedication is a big part of this, in fact bigger than all of the others. When you form this outfit, be dedicated to it. If your buddy comes and say "hey come help with my unit instead you don't have any members anyway" Fuck that, you commit yourself to YOUR unit. If you're going to form it, put yourself into it. This means do all that you can to ensure it succeeds. Get your name out, get to know other units, populate your server and post on your forums. It will always start slow, but the important thing is to hang in there, stick with it, and if you really want it to, it will succeed.
Dedication can be a hard hammer to control. But as realism guru Alvin C. York will say “each swing of your dedication hammer cling’s a new soldier.”
Do what’s right for your unit. Not what’s going to just benefit yourself.
